Art 19 on Times Square

“A Piece of Sky” by Yoko Ono on the Times Square

On November 27th, Art 19 has made it to the Times Square. The piece shown in the middle of New York City was the limited edition artwork “A Piece of Sky” by Yoko Ono. Yoko Ono, together with 10 other leading contemporary artists Gerhard Richter, Ayşe Erkmen, Shilpa Gupta, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov, William Kentridge, Shirin Neshat, , Chiharu Shiota, Kiki Smith and Rosemarie Trockel have teamed up with Art 19 in order to produce Art 19 Box One, a collection of 10 limited edition prints. Art 19 Box One was created in support of Amnesty International.
